Bilgi is a taluk in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka, India. It is situated at a distance of 30 km from the district headquarters Bagalkot. The main occupation of people in this taluk is Agriculture. Most of the farmers grow sugarcane. There are lots of sugarcane industries around Bilgi.

Bilgi is located at 14.35° N 74.8° E^[1]. It has an average elevation of 509 metres (1669 feet).

As of 2001 India census^[2], Bilgi had a population of 15,464. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Bilgi has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 66% and female literacy of 49%. 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
