I am one of these people who uses WP as a resource far more than they contribute. For which I say, thanks, fellow wikipedians.
In what we might laughingly refer to as the "real" world, I am a doctoral student in environmental epidemiology, living in Boston.
Lately I have been doing a little bit of recent changes patrol, checking for vandalism immediately after the fact. I have found this to be an excellent tool for procrastination, and recommend it to anyone trying to write a dissertation. I also have enjoyed rewriting pages that are up for deletion to make them useful stubs. The handful of pictures I've contributed are at wikimedia commons; see my account at commons.
