Biju John

Fr. Biju John is a Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Changanacherry in Kerala. Ordained to the priesthood in 1998 at Lourde Forane Church Trivandrum. He served in two parishes as Priest of Saint Mary's Cathedral, St. Francis Xaviour's Church, and one month in Holy Maggi Church, Manimala. While As. Parish priest he acted as the Managing Director of the Computer institute in Changanacherry.
In 2001 Fr. Biju John was asked to go for higher studies in Information technology (Master's in Information Technology.) While he was in England for studies, Fr. Biju John was asked by the Archdiocese of Westminster to assist at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Arnos Grove, London. Assisting in the pastoral affairs of the Church. He served many ethnical communities. Fr. Biju John is a member of the oriental Church helped the Syro-Malabar communities in England, Wales and Scotland.
Also in 2002 Fr. Biju John initiated a process of spiritual and pastoral renewal among the Syro-Malabar faithful throughout the country by offering Holy Mass after a period of consultation with the faithful of the same faith. In 2003 ‘Friends Voice’ was officially launched with the support of Syro-Malabar Catholics in England. While Assisting in the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes and celebrating Holy Mass for the Syro-Malabarians he acted as host to the Archbishop of Changanacherry, His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil, on the occasion of his visit to the Syro-Malabar Communities in England and Wales. He played a key part in helping Syro-Malabar Catholics to establish the first National website and Syro-Malabar Catholic Centre at Arnos Grove, London.
In June 2005 Fr. Biju John was appointed by Cardinal Murphy-O'Connor as Syro-Malabar chaplain to the Archdiocese of Westminster, within months he was also appointed as Syro-Malabar Catholic Church Coordinator, London. Within one year (2005) with the help of other faithful, he established around 30 Holy Mass celebration centres in and around London. God has given him remarkable achievements.He also established the coordination commitee, and the parish councils for each Holy Mass centre. He has been particularly interested in Eastern Catholic Church, Youth work and other sacraments of the Church. He also tries to deliver IT education among the poor and thus uplifting them to receive Light and Love.
Fr. Biju John was the first Syro-Malabar chaplain of Westminster Archdiocese and Coordinator for London, represented the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church of London for two years. Within this short time, he inspired the syro-Malabar faithful to keep the tradition, identity, Patrimony and individuality of the Mother Church. He founded more than thirty Syro-Malabar Holy Mass centres in and around London. Fr. Biju John is known for his in-depth knowledge of Eastern Catholic Church traditions and patrimony, especially for the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. His enthusiasm and zealous attitude are evidence of the love for his church.
He was on the forefront in the recognition of the Syro-Malabar Church’s legitimate rights in the United Kingdom. Fr. John has been honored many times by the Catholic Bishops and clergy in London. Fr. Biju John is also expert in Information technology and he does his research on Information Technology. His research interest includes Information Technology, Multimedia, Neural Network, E-Business, E-Commerce and Human Computer interaction.
He has written two books 'Lives Waves' published in 2000, and 'Just Golden rule for better business', published in 2005.
