Bihar-E-Sharif

Bihar-E-Sharif, also called Bihar Sharif, is a small town in Nalanda district, Bihar, India. It is headquarter of Nalanda district. The neighbouring places of tourist interest are Rajgir, Pawapuri and Nalanda. The town is mostly agriculture economy although a Railway coach factory is being built in Harnoutand an ordinance factory is also being built in rajgir.
The town is well connected by railway to all the major cities e.g. Delhi(Shramjeevi Express, 2392)(Magadh Express, 2401), Patna(Many local and Express trains are available at regular interval), Calcutta, Kanpur, Lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi etc. and new project as per announcing in paper Harnout Sugar Cane mill, Bihar Sharif Cement Factory etc. Politically this small town has given some famous politicians like George Fernandes, Nitish Kumar and more.
