Hi. I've deleted Joshua David Gottschling, because its subject does not seem to meet our notability requirements. Please do not re-create the article, and please review Wikipedia's five pillars before creating any more articles. Thanks. -- Vary | Talk 04:22, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I do not recall creating that article. I probably was the one who nominated it for Speedy Deletion. Bige1977 04:26, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi. You nominated Latin American Miracles for speedy deletion on the grounds of copyright, but didn't say where it was copyright from. If it is not blatent copyright violation is is not a CSD, and should go through the usual copyright violation procedure. DJ Clayworth 14:44, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Aharon Shteinman
Re: [1]. He's one of the most important rabbis living today. But it's hard to verify, b/c these guys don't really use the internet, and b/c his name was misspelled by the creator. Go figure! - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 11:26, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Whistle register singers
It's a CATEGORY, and I may simply be putting its delition request in the wrong place. I am new to this set up. Tantris 16:53, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Endless Online (2nd nomination)
Hi, Steve block placed a convincing argument in favor for deletion on the linked deletion request which cites WP:V in saying that the content needs to be verified with third-party content. Just letting you know. —THIS IS MESSEDOCKER (TALK) 00:17, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OsteoBall
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I've deleted those articles now. Titoxd(?!? - help us) 03:53, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Collection of spellings (Akidd_dublin)
Some people believe the Mad Magazine is a great danger, a malicious threat. Therefore, it is not available in some countries. I do not include who wrote it, I do not include aggressive things. Probably i should not do this. If it makes the community sad, i can (and will) delete it. It's meant for entertainment pourpose, and a reaction to various user pages (which scroll graphics anyway). The text labels on them include much worse things. Let me know if it looks unwiki. I do not agree with anyone, but of course the consensus (which is not a single individual). Akidd dublin•tl•ctr-l 17:05, 10 May 2006 (UTC) gone. not good for my image. Akidd dublin•tl•ctr-l 14:19, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Iran-Iraq UFO Sightings
I corrected your problem with placing this article on AFD. BigE1977 17:09, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. I will do so now.--Fuhghettaboutit 04:16, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dhanks
Hiding archives isn't explicitly disallowed, but it's considered extremely bad form. He's not a productive member of the community, so I don't consider that he has any claim to do as he wants with any of Wikipedia's resources, including "his" talk page. — Saxifrage ✎ 20:57, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Yy-bo about Akidd_dublin
I have found a pointer to my previous contribution history, using the account Akidd_dublin. And remarks about fnarf999. His edit comments have been outbound of being friendly. He was right about linking to own sites. It is not allowed by policy. However, see the article Red_hair, i just removed unrelated information, a few lines about the term ginger. The result has been pages of discussion, mediation cabal about the discussion. In the follow up, he jumped into my contribution history, and edited everything possible, see matsuri. The unrelated information is gone from the article. I insist (probably he comes here) that he was not right starting to argue over my edits to the Red hair article. I just believe it is not worth to unroll it again. Probably he has improved his communications. And i will get blocked for a month: i do not believe he was right, correct english or not. He just used it as an argument.
Most bad things cause something good! I was happy about my new account id. But, are i am under obligation to say thank you to fnarf? Because he caused it indirectly? A question i do not know an answer for. User:Yy-bo 12:33, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Redirect
Don't know if a redirect from Melting oven to Furnace is superfluous. No increased interest in the article. 3RR not argueable. User:YBO 23:18, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: User talk:YBO
Ah, thanks for bringing that to my attention. Since they're pretty well confined to their user talk page while blocked, it doesn't seem like a serious problem, I guess? If they start making personal attacks, legal threats, stuff like that, it may be a larger problem, but for now it seems pretty tame. Feel free to let me know if anything changes. :) Regards, Luna Santin 23:19, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tiger playing in the movie A Boy and His Dog
Hi! I just recently came across the article you've created on the Brady Bunch dog Tiger. It appears, unless I'm mistaken, that you mentioned that he/she played the dog in the movie A Boy and His Dog. From what I've gathered by research it appears Tiger died well before the movie was released. I've searched Google and have found various references that also state Tiger was played by the Brady Bunch dog, but they usually come from unreliable sources and the dates of Tigers death vs. the date of the movie airing is odd. The only explanation is that the film took a pretty long time to make (mid or late 60's to mid 70s)... and even then Tigers role would have had to be miniature since he would have died so early in the filming (I don't know, I personally haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I've read "Tiger" seemed to have a fairly big role in the film). Anyway, please reply on the discussion page for A Boy and His Dog, the discussion page for Tiger, or my talk page. Thanks. --PoeticX 08:25, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Orville Redenbacher.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Orville Redenbacher.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:50, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Toro Logo.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Toro Logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:43, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
