[edit] Cones
You might want to try Googling for the Finnish name. I've moved the article to the new name. DS 13:30, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Politicians
You're right about the non notability of these 'Respect' functionaries. Most of these [1] could go don't you think? Nick mallory 03:31, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sleep Country Canada
User:Bigdaddy1981, I noticed you tagged this article for deletion because it appeared to be an advertisement. If you could be more specific about your concern, I would be happy to try to address it. I think you may be using the advertisement tag too liberally, as this article is well referenced and doesn't speak of bargains or special offers. I have made several contributions to this article and have no affiliation with the company. In fact I'm not even one of their customers. I do have their jingle permanently in my head due to their heavy advertising. Clerks. 16:05, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] help! under politically motivated attacks
Hi Bigdaddy, Can you see if this article is really OR or just being railroaded? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Influence_and_activism_of_J._K._Rowling Thanks, Libertycookies 17:47, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Nucleate_boiling
You recently tagged this as a blatant copyright violation, but I couldn't find where the violation was in the pdf that you linked to. I removed the speedy delete tag, but maybe you could be clearer if you still think this was a copyright violation. Sancho 03:20, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/LidiaFourdraine
Hi, I added to the case you raised here. This included making some edits to your prior text, so I thought it best to inform you. Regards, — BillC talk 15:35, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Alex Porteau Article
The article has recently come up for deletion and you voted for its deletion. I have since re-written the article and think that the article is now good enough to remain on Wikipedia. If you could have a look at the article and re-consider your vote it would be much appreciated. A-Dust 11:08, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Louis Carlet
On the AfD discussion you said keep, based on notability. However, I just checked the sources: Two were articles in the Japan Times that promote the Union. Another was a classified ad, and the final one was an event listing. None of these satisfy WP:RS or WP:V and have been deleted. Please look through the history and check for yourself.
The three remaining sources are duplicates of those on the NUGW page. I don't know if you live, or have lived in Japan, but this person is simply not notable at all, and it appears that Union supporters are stuffing the page with bogus links to make him appear more notable than he actually is. I would like to ask you to reconsider your review of the page. Best regards. -- Sparkzilla talk! 17:02, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- FYI. Sparkzilla is the self-declared publisher of Metropolis magazine, which has included information negative to the union of which Mr Carlet is involved. SZ has been warned-off editing articles relating to his magazine and business interests by many admins in the ongoing discussion here due to his COI and WP:CANVAS activities. Just a heads-up David Lyons 17:54, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Slut Night
When you get a chance, take a look at the work Benjiboi did on Slut Night. And consider reviewing your non-vote? -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 14:28, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Nobel laureates by country
Nominated per suggestions at the atheists page. I actually don't care if it's deleted or kept but a discussion should be put through so that people don't complain about the removal of ethnic and religious lists like it. Bulldog123 20:27, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPMILHIST Announcements}} there.
- Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, offline publication, article improvement contests, and other tasks.
- We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
- We've developed a variety of guidelines for article structure and content, template use, categorization, and other issues that you may find useful.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the project coordinators, or any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Kirill 23:47, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to WikiProject Plants!
Hi, and welcome to WikiProject Plants! Our scope includes any and all taxa of plants, botanists, and botany topics. We're glad to have you working with us on our project!
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- We discuss our project frequently at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Plants. You can watchlist it to keep up with the conversations.
Here are some easy ways you can contribute:
- Images: There are articles that need images. You can search Wikimedia Commons for images. When you find one, add it to the Wikipedia article in the taxobox and remove the "needs-photo=yes" parameter from the project banner on the talk page of the article. You could also help identify plant photos on Commons.
- Taxobox: We also have articles that need taxoboxes. See the taxobox usage guide for information on how to add a taxobox. When complete, don't forget to remove the "needs-taxobox=yes" parameter from the talk page banner.
- Stubs: Consider expanding one of our stubs or create one of our requested articles.
- Assessment: You could also help assess our unassessed articles.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page or the project at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Plants. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Rkitko (talk) 16:10, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

- I've rewritten the article on Bob Holman to remove the ad tag you'd placed in August; let me know what you think! Randomdeanna 16:48, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- Excellent, glad you liked the rewrite. I've removed the advert tag; let me know if you object. (Also made some quick corrections to timeline things I had wrong in the first paragraph!) Randomdeanna 21:59, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

I was surprised by some of your comments at this AfD; for the sake of WP:BLP, can you remove the bad stuff? Thanks.
For what it's worth, I'm no fan of this person and I agree with that article's deletion; I'm just concerned about the BLP part.--A. B. (talk) 17:43, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
