[edit] English vs. American spelling

You have "corrected" realised to realized, insisting on using American spelling. I honestly thought both kinds of spelling could be used in the English Wikipedia.--EvenT 2 July 2005 21:22 (UTC)

  1. With regard to the above comment, the English used in articles is that of the first person to edit it substantially (usually the creator); it can be changed only if the article's subject makes another variety of English more appropriate (such as U.S. English in Ronald Reagan, or British English in Jane Austen).
  2. With regard to Seijuu Sentai Gingman, please don't remove the "copyedit" template until the article, and especially its English, has been thoroughly checked. At the moment, the English is pretty peculiar in places, to say the least. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 3 July 2005 10:25 (UTC)

[edit] Copyediting

Does this really belong in the copyediting category?

Does what really belong in the copyediting category? If you don't tell me, I won't know.
Also, can you please remember to sign your comments on other people's talk pages using --~~~~ (or the signature button at the top of the edit page), as it saves other users' time, is generally the accepted format for Wikipedia, and, if you notice, is mentioned in the template another Wikipedian has placed at the top of your talk page. --me_and 5 July 2005 21:44 (UTC)
