User talk:BigThunder2020
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A tag has been placed on User:BigThunder2020, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. EMT1871 14:59, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Andrew Wisniowiecki
It is felt that the article you created at Andrew Wisniowiecki is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:BigThunder2020, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.
Note, however, that the purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing is likely to be removed.
Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information.
About "accepting all friend requests"...
- We don't have those. This is not myspace. It's not a social site or a forum. Generally, we try to keep communications mainly to being about updating the encyclopedia. Fan-1967 15:00, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Deletion tag
Don't worry about that. Someone tagged the page for deletion when it was an article, but I removed the tag after I moved the page to your User Page. You're fine now. Fan-1967 15:05, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Response to your message
First of all, it's not "your" page. Once you click "save page", the article becomes part of Wikipedia, which means that anyone can edit it. I deleted your article because the redirect that I had created (from "Ur momma" to the African-American folk traditon of The dozens, where we get your mommma jokes) was being repeatedly changed to redirect to various words like pimp, penis, and vagina, and I don't think that the redirect was particularly helpful. I assume that you were trying to vandalize the project -- vandalism being defined as an attempt to lessen the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you want to experiment, you should use the sandbox. You can go to our welcome page to learn about contributing constructively to the project. Also, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages with ~~~~; this will leave your username and the timestamp of your message automatically. -- Merope 15:08, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] edit this page freely it can be like an open forum
Really, don't do that. Please read the User Page Guidelines. Also, read What Wikipedia is not. Seriously, people who try to use Wikipedia as a forum have been banned. Our primary purpose here is to maintain an encyclopedia. Period. Fan-1967 15:13, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
