Big Bamboo Stock Photography is located in Honolulu, Hawaii and is dedicated to depicting in photographs the unique spirt of the Hawaiian Islands. Featured are photos from Hawaii and throughout the Pacific Rim. Co-founded by photographer Brian Kossen who grew up in Holland, Michigan, and has traveled the world before making his home in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Big Bamboo derives its name from the bamboo plant which down through the millennia has symbolized for versatility, strength and resiliency. It is alwo know as a self-generating and renewable natural resource.

The Hawaiian Islands depicted include Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Hawaii (Big Island), Molokai, Niihau and Lanai. Photos include the Hawaiian people and their rich culture as well as heritage, volcanoes, waterfalls, beaches, surfing, architecture, historic Hawaii, agriculture, and food.

Other Pacific locations include, Kiribati, Micronesia, Tahiti, Fiji, and Rarotonga. Asia locations include Bali]], Japan]], Thailand]] and Beijing, China.
