I, Nathan, am a former editor at Wikipedia. Most of my work was put into minor fixes and policy discussions; the helpdesk and RfD were two of my favourite areas. I still lurk quite a bit, usually without logging in. If you are trying to contacting me, only e-mail inquiries will be met with swift response.
Since you're here at my userpage, let me take an opportunity to make a shameless plug for WP:EQ. It's really a good read and if you have it fresh in your mind when you participate in the encyclopedia project, I promise you'll be a better editor because of it.
[edit] Good reading
Since I read a lot here, I decided to start a list of articles that I really appreciate; these are articles I suggest to others for reading.
- Lloyd Allan Trigg — RNZAF pilot, awarded the VC (6 August 2006)
- Hanlon's razor — Never assume malice when stupidity will suffice. (19 August 2006)
- Stanislav Petrov — Soviet Army Lt. Col. who averted nuclear war in 1983 (1 September 2006)
- Erdős–Bacon number — The sum of a person's Erdős and Bacon numbers. (7 November 2006)
- SS Suevic — British steamship launched on 8 December 1900 (10 July 2007)
