I am more than familiar with WP:FU, but suerly the logo for the series is allowed on the main series page? Dalejenkins 20:08, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Policy cannot be ignored. Non-free content can only be used on Wikipedia if its use is restricted to articles, and including non-free images on this template violates that. There are ways to include the image on the article and in this template without violating the non-free content criteria, but even if this is to be done I think use of the image should be discussed first. I don't think the BB8 logo should be used on a template that appears in the main BB article, the BB8 logo should only appear on the BB8 article. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 20:53, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

I added the 2007 logo to the sidebar because the article should have a logo of some form. This image is covered by Fair Use and is appropriate until the next series begins in 2008. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 10:04, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

I am reverting it back for now, I did the same for the NaviBox and put a note at the top when people edit the Navibox not to put Dermot with former hosts until Celebrity Hijack concludes. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 04:58, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Propose a new layout for template.

The current setup is good for a Big Brother like the American version since we have two hosts and two shows. However this is horrible for a Big Brother with various shows like the UK! So I am proposing a new format here in my sandbox. The presenters are seperate, the shows are seperate, and the series are seperate. In the Presenters when you hit [show] I have all main presenters spit up into two groups "current" and "former". The shows are in a similar fashion. I left the series alone since there was nothing wrong with them. So should we use this new version in my sandbox since it is neater than the current one and more organized. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 05:33, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removed "Current Series"/"Statistics"

I removed "Current Series" and "Statistics". Reasons below:

• "Current Series" is supposed to only be included when a series/season is in progress and must be a show.
• "Statistics" was removed because it is more or less a trivia section. Sections like this have become trivia sections before and Wikipedia frowns on any kind of trivia sections.

I Added the statistics section as i thought the page needed it as it doesn't have a infobox and all the information under the statistics tab is information you would expect to see on a television infobox. in regards to the Current series comment, i thought that it would give information to the average person that there was no series airing and that it would keep a formatted shape to the sidebar and would therefore make it is easier to edit when a series does come on. The statistics aren't needed in the infobox. As Alucard 16 said, it is trivia. We don't need a section saying there is no current series, just add the section when the next series starts. ^anemone│_projectors 21:02, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

These sidebars serve as their infoboxes. And I stand on what I said at the top "Current Series" should only be included when a series is in progress and "Statistics" is just trivia. In23065 I didn't mean nothing bad by removing the sections you added. We appreciate your edits like how you made the three sections "Presenters", "Shows" and "Series" and separated the presenters into two sections, the shows into three sections.
