I don't think this page is necessary, it can be left in the chronology. And do not call it highlights, it should be called chronology. I am upset because I took the time to write up the summary of the Day 34 HOH competition and now it's gone and some other **** **** is gonna come and write some worse **** about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.247.227 (talkcontribs)

Please sign your name with ~~~~ when you post. Also, don't be vulgar in your posts, it's not necessary. You can go through the edit history and copy your passage about the Head of Household (do not write HOH, if you abbreviate, write HoH, that's the proper abbreviation) if you want to. Geoking, please don't tell someone not to be vulgar, when that is only your opinion. It's condescending, and that, in my opinion, is more "vulgar", than some asterisks. He/she didn't actually use swear words. Crikey. - Jeeny Talk 07:03, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit]  ??? My argument:

I'm sorry I wrongfully capitalized a letter.

I did not swear.

I implied "swearing" not swear words.

I don't need a time stamp. It's not important.

I will not repost my section because it should have left up in the first place.

This page should be called chronology, not highlights.

Highlights are important things. Chronology is everything.

It's original name was "Chronology".

On the Big Brother 8 (US) article.

Where it belongs.

And should have stayed.

Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.247.227 (talkcontribs)

The article was becoming too long. In these instances the article must be split. Too much information had been put in and it was continually mentioned that the notes should be short bullet points. Although known as the chronology section, it is meant to list highlights from the series, not every single detail. This is against the guildelines set forth by WP:BIGBRO. It is to be a simple selection of events that happened during the season, usually about competitions, which are important (thus highlights).Geoking66talk 21:33, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
To be honest, I too think it should have been named Chronology as it was in the BB 8 article. All these "guidelines" seem so unorganized, or haphazard. There are different colors meaning the same thing, a table for this, but not for that. I think, if anything there should have been more consensus on the naming of this article. IMO. Also, guidelines mean just that, "guidelines" just like Wikipedia has guidelines, but no rules. - Jeeny Talk 06:47, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Organizing the table better

I suggested this on the BB Project Page, but I thought I'd do it here too: Why don't we organize the table like that on Big Brother 6 (US), it makes the information easier to find, and it looks (to me) more organized). - zachinthebox 16:29, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

I say yes to it. Put this on the main talk page, you should get more response there since almost every discussion about BB8 is held there. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 08:08, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rewrites and deletions

I have deleted a large section from the Week 6 summary of Dick's attack against the house. It is not written very encyclopedically, there were several spelling errors, and contained useless information (such as where everyone walked to after Dustin was evicted). Dustin's eviction is covered in the "Exits" section. - Spyke1077 17:17, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
