Big Rapids Public Schools

Big Rapids Public Schools is a Class B district in mid-Michigan. The District's Superintendent is Dr. Thomas M. Langdon. The district is comprised of the High School (A Michigan Blue Ribbon School), an Alternative High School, the Middle School (grades 6-8), three Elementary Schools (Grades 1-5) an Early Childhood Development Center, and a preschool for 4 year olds who qualify and others if space allows.

On May 11, 2006, Big Rapids High School was recognized by the Michigan Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon Exemplary School.[1]
