Paul Ryder, founding member of the Madchester band Happy Mondays, instrumental co-creator of the sound that changed the face of a generation,[citation needed] iconic bassist and co-writer of 8 top ten hit singles and 4 top ten albums, is back with a new band and a new album, Radiator released November 2007.
Big Arm have attracted many fans including Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook and The Stone Roses frontman and now solo artist Ian Brown who have both been seen at Big Arm gigs.[citation needed] Ian Brown was so impressed he invited Big Arm to support him on some of his UK tour dates.[citation needed] (Paul Ryder also plays on a couple of tracks on Ian's album The World Is Yours).
The band’s first single Flashbacks was described by xfm DJ Clint Boon as the best debut single he'd ever heard.[citation needed]
