"Big Apple", released in 1983, was the first single released from UK band Kajagoogoo's second album (first without singer Limahl) Islands. It became the group's fourth Top 20 hit in the United Kingdom, peaking at number eight, however, the song was not popular in the United States, the group's sole hit single there was "Too Shy", leading many to believe the group was a one hit wonder, however they weren't in the UK.
