Big Al's
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Big Al's was one of the first topless bars in San Francisco and the United States since the mid 1960s. It was the first bottomless bar in San Francisco.[1] It is next door from the Condor Bar, where the strip-club phenomenon first started.
To this day it remains as an attraction for tourist from all over the globe due to its prime location in the heart of the touristic district of North Beach, and it's highly recognizable neon sign. Big Al's also stands as a San Francisco landmark featured in several films and TV shows as well as postcards and touristic brochures.
Big Al's is since 1991 one of the largest porn-stores in the city of San Francisco.[2]
