Big☆Bang!!! is the first album from Shōko Nakagawa released on March 19, 2008. Technically, it is her third album after the release of two cover mini albums.
On February 11, 2008, she held a press conference after holding a special concert on the same day. During the press conference, she declared that if the album takes the #1 spot on the Oricon album chart, she will run naked through Nakano Broadway. However, it only debuted at #4 on the chart, which seemed disappointing to her fans. Rumours clamied that it didn't reach the top because she has drawn criticism for remarks she made about the two men who were in a fishing boat sunk by an MSDF Aegis destroyer. Even though she apologized for her bad statements, her album never ranked #1. They knew she actually did this on purpose and they were really upset. They claimed that she didn't want it to reach the #1 spot because she didn't want to run naked in the street and let everybody see her body.
