X-mass I hacked the BiFest page from the BiCon (UK) page, and i know its rubbish and not upto Wikipedia standards but I'm hoping that people will come along and fill in the blanks I have left. thanks! Kate.

X-mass There is one problem - if people search on bifet they don't come to this page, I assuem tjat I failed to registert it properly. I supposee the other reason is that the search tables and links hav't been updated properly

[edit] Reversion to previous version

--Dmatthewman 15:04, 21 July 2006 (UTC) Sorry, x-mass, but ciphergoth's revision was simply more accurate. Please do not re-revert. People interested in the detailed early history of BiCon can look at the BiCon page. Ciphergoth's links are a lot tidier. And, as I said elsewhere, I was not on the 2000 and 2004 BiCon teams - you may be thinking of Jenni, but she didn't re-start BiFest: I did (with a lot of help).

And, while BiFest has so far been open to non-bisexuals, it is primarily an event for and about bisexuals, so over-emphasising the openness gives the wrong idea about the event, IMO. It is, in any case, up to individual BiFest organisers to decide this; it's not up to Wikipedia to define it.

---X-mass fine but I do object to him taking out standard requirments of wiki's for example referencing, I also think the format of putting in a history is useful. why is there a requirment that wikipedia should be as short as possible? I accept I made a mistake. I was actually refering to JenBird. I going to edit again and see if we can find some common ground. And yes bifest like bicon is mostly about bisexuality and if it ever went exclusive to bisexuals then we would both be excluded :)
