[edit] True meaning of ch'tis
Although the film was translated as Welcome to the Sticks, Please note the word ch'tis doesn't mean "Sticks" but "Northern French people". I am myself a "ch'ti" (prononced shtee). Our dialect called ch'ti is also known as picard. But the word cheutimi is neologism created by a Southern French guy in the film.
