[edit] Former province?
Did "Bien Hoa" used to be a province of South Vietnam? Badagnani (talk) 01:28, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, between 1832 and 1956 it was a province that encompassed much of the provinces north of Saigon today (Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, etc). Between 1956 and 1976 it was broken up into 4 provinces, one of which was also called Bien Hoa (see map at right). DHN (talk) 01:10, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
