[edit] 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification
A Proposed Deletion template has been added to the article 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. Hi, Vivio
In many web sites about the FIFA World Cups like [[1]] in the general points said that the preliminaroes draw for the qualifications to the World Cup is celebrated three years before. For example according this web site:
1970 1968 1974 1971 1978 1975 1982 1979 1986 1983 1990 1987 1994 1991 1998 1995 2002 1999 2006 2001 2010 2007
In Italics the year of the preliminary draw. The year of the preliminary draw ,following this sequence at least FIFA´s decide to change will be efectuate in 2011, a year after 2010 FIFA World Cup.
[edit] Speedy deletion of Sunchyme
A tag has been placed on Sunchyme requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Cinco de mayo addition
Hola - do you have a citation for the information you just added to the Cinco de Mayo article? Although it sounds plausible, is it really unusual enough to add to this article? Don't people in the armed services regularly pledge allegiance to the flag? Is this the only day that they pledge allegiance? EspanaViva 04:06, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
The information that I take is from a tradition that always in this day is reported by Mexican media especially Televisa and TV Azteca. In this ceremony the presidents address to all the draftees who pleadge alliengance to the Mexican flags.
