As of 2001 India census,[2] Bhojudih had a population of 8,936. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Bhojudih has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 75% and female literacy of 51%. 12% of the population is under 6 years of age. Bhojudih has schooling facility up to 12th std.govt. school as well as railway school, there is one graduation college also, outdoor health clinic facility with conducting railway root for various hospitals also. Bhojudih has an institute where cultural programmes take place very often. The nature is very blessed, there are three rivers surrounding Bhojudih called Damodar, Hijri and Guwai, tourist spot is known as "BHAIRAV STHAN".
