Coordinates: Bhodwal Majri is a small village in Panipat district in Haryana (India). It is situated between the Grand Trunk Road and the Ambala-Delhi main railway line, near the town of Samalkha. The village is located at latitude 29°11'45.38"N and longitude 77° 0'49.15"E.
Bhodwal Majri was established in Samwat 1444 by two brothers Mann & Happa. The population of this village is nearly 3000. There is one anganwadi for small kids, one primary school and one high school.
The Shiv Mandir (temple of Shiva) is located at the entrance of the village. It was built in 1973 and is maintained by villagers.
Most of the villagers belong to the Gurjar Karhana clan.[citation needed]
The first woman sarpanch of the village was Bhateri Devi.
