Bhedarganj is located at 23.2083° N 90.4417° E . It has 36550 units of house hold and total area 267.28 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Bhedarganj has a population of 207258. Males constitute are 50.67% of the population, and females 49.33%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 94743. Bhedarganj has an average literacy rate of 22.5% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
