Explanation: Bhagwan Das (the person on the photo) died in 1958, so it seems fair to assume the image was first published some time before that. Exactly when the image was first published is unknown to me however. If the image was first published before 1945 then it is in the public domain (as of 2005 according to Indian copyright law and would qualify as {{PD-India}}. However since I can't confirm when it was first published I'll err on the side of caution and just claim "fair use". --Sherool 15:42, 27 September 2005 (UTC)

I believe this image qualifies as "fair use" because:

• It's a low resolution image that doesn't limit the value of the original work.
• It adds value to the Bhagwan Das article by ilustrating the person in question.
• I have absolutely no idea how to contact the copyright holder to ask permission (I doubht the site I got it from own the copyright).
• I have been uneable to find any free lisensed photographs of this person.
