Bhavra is a town and a nagar panchayat in Jhabua district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.
This is the birthplace of Chandra Sekhar Azad, the Great Freedom Fighter of India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Bhavra had a population of 9263. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Bhavra has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 62% and female literacy of 45%. 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
