Bhattu Kalan or Bhatto Kalan is a large village situated in present day Fatehabad District, near Sirsa city, in the state of Haryana, India[1]. This is the native village of Khuda Bux, the father of Sir Shahnawaz Bhatto. Sir Shahnawaz Bhatto migrated from Bhatto Kalan before the partition of India and later on settled in Sindh, presently in Pakistan. Sir Shahnawaz Bhatto used his native village name "Bhatto" as his identification. Later on spelling of Bhatto was changed to Bhutto by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
