Bhargain is a town and a nagar panchayat in Etah district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Bhargain had a population of 19,977. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Bhargain has an average literacy rate of 36%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 47% and female literacy of 23%. 20% of the population is under 6 years of age.
