Bharat Refractories

Bharat Refractories Limited (BRL) is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India and is headquartered in New Delhi. The company was incorporated in 1974 with three refractories plants. BRL was designated a "Sick Company" by the government per Section 20(1) of the Sick Industrial Companies Act (SICA). A proposal, later initiated to wind down the company, was remanded by the court. The company posted aggregated revenues of Rs 16,428 lakh (US$ 418.45 million) in fiscal 2006[1]
