Bhambu

Bhambhoo (भाम्भू) or Bhambu (भाम्बु) or Bhambhu (भाम्बू) Bhamu (भामू) is gotra of Jats found in Distt Jaipur, Sikar, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Barmer in Rajasthan. Also found in Gurgaon, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa districts in Haryana.

A city named Bhambura in Sindh, is mentioned by Cunningham as capital of a king, named Bhambu Raja in tenth century AD.[1]
