Bhairab (Bengali: ভৈরব) is an Upazila of Kishoreganj District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Bhairab is located at
. It has 34419 units of house hold and total area 139.32 km². Bhairab is situated beside the rivers The Meghna and The Brahmaputra.[edit] Demographics
As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Bhairab has a population of 192448. Males constitute are 51.11% of the population, and females 48.89%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 95910. Bhairab has an average literacy rate of 25.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
