Bhagwal is a town located in Chakwal District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is located at 33°4'32N 72°35'45E[1].

Bhagwal town has been very important politically because many prominent politicians including the famous journalist and political leader Ayaz Amir who served as an MPA for Chakwal are from this town.[citation needed]

Most of the population earn their living through agriculture and about 20 percent are employed in the Pakistan Defence Forces[citation needed].

In this town there is an inter college for boys, also containing a hostel. There are also many private schools and information technology centres. Notable institutions are:
