Bhadrakali High School, Gokarna

Bhadrakali High School, Gokarna is one of the oldest high schools in Kumta taluk, Uttar Kannada district, Karnataka, India, being established in 1946.[1]

Bhadrkali is the name of the Hindu Godess Kali ( Parwati the wife of Lord Shiva the Lord Mahabhaleshwara). The temple of Lord Shiva in Gokarna is one of the famous Temples in India. The school is named after Kali the Godess. Bhadrakali means the the "Kali the Great". You also find the Kali temple in Gokarna.
