[edit] Notes (For a translation thing I am working on)
On Febuary first the eastern orthadoc church celebrates Saint Великомъченик Трифон-saint and healer born around 225 years ago in the Малоазийската province Фригия.
Not even 17 years old when he wins a bad reputation

I became interested in this, primarily because I was shocked by the spelling (Tryphon) used for the English page. So I brought this up here, in the section Spelling: really "Tryphon"??? Please see the discussion on that page; I feel quite strongly that it should be changed to Trifon, probably with the explanation suggested by User:Cameltrader.
I've looked at the Bulgarian page, and I agree that there's not really enough there to make a proper article. But if I can help in some way, please let me know - I do own a great many of the standard Bulgarian folklore and ethnography reference books (Вакарелски, some Арнаудов, Д. Маринов, and many others). I know a little about this holiday, but not enough to do a good job on an article. — Martha (talk) 23:33, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
