[edit] MK Dons v Chelsea XI
Marto, I reverted your edit to Milton Keynes Dons F.C. because
- it was a friendly, with trial players on both sides and massive substitutions. It is not done to go on about the score.
- Chelsea did not field its first team.
- the match is notable only because it opened the stadium. We almost never give match scores anyway, unless it was the last game of the season and promotion or relegation depended on the last goal of the day.
Wikipedia is not a fan site. No matter how much you want to praise your home side, you have to hold back. Of course if somebody disrespects them without reason, you are completely within your rights to revert it as "POV" (personal point of view) rather than NPOV (neutral point of view). Keep editing! We all had to learn by getting comments like this. --Concrete Cowboy 17:49, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
- OK, I will know for future. Thank you for your advices, and I'm sorry for my english I'm bulgarian. --TheDonsBG 12:24, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:South Bank Footall Club.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:South Bank Footall Club.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Vandalism to MK Dons article
Marto, if you haven't already done so, could you add Milton Keynes Dons F.C. to your watch list. There has been a lot of vandalism which I didn't notice because you and Zorro had been updating the team info, so I assumed you had also checked the anon editor changes. If possible, could you just check recent changes before you update the team stats etc. [ps, you are doing a great job on the stats!] --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 13:47, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Infobox data
Hiya, I've just corrected your input into Aaron Wilbraham's data in the infobox. Please note that the appearances relates to league games only and does not include FA Cup and league cup games. I'm sure you have other entries which may need correcting. Peanut4 (talk) 21:28, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- I was edited all squad infoboxes... I will start again... :) --BGTopDon (talk) 10:22, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Newport Pagnell FC badge.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Newport Pagnell FC badge.jpg. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Puakenikeni-iTune-Cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Puakenikeni-iTune-Cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 15:23, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Bulgarian Chart
The chart is fake, it doesn't have any sources plus there are no bulgarian acts which makes it even more fake.--Chronisgr (talk) 20:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
I have received the same letter too but that doesn't prove anything. I can claim the same too. Plus, there are no paid-downloads in Bulgaria nor singles sales. The chart does NOT include any Bulgarian acts and it is IMPOSSIBLE radios and television NOT to play bulgarian songs!--Chronisgr (talk) 17:38, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:GGHW.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:GGHW.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by an adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 18:20, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
