Talk:BFG10K

Ack... I re-wrote the article (basing the first part of the introduction on the previous version) but forgot to include an edit summary. Sorry about that. >.<
That said, I'm hoping someone more familiar with the specific numbers/calculations to fill in some of the missing details of the Quake II version (e.g. just how much damage is inflicted by the "special effect"). -- Vystrix Nexoth 23:01, Mar 27, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Language
Aren't we not supposed to use offensive language? I am wondering whether it might be more in line with Wikipedia guidelines to called it the "Big F***ing Gun", or something to that effect? But, I guess it is calling the thing by it's proper name. Just a thought. :-)

- No, Wikipedia does not censor. Big Fucking Gun is the correct term, and it is what should be in the encyclopedia.
- Somebody deleted the correct term, so I inserted it again. And no, not everybody looking this up knows what it stands for.
[edit] Content
Are there any sources for this information or is it all original research? Unless someone can put in some references pretty soon, I'm going to start slashing the commentary or suggest a merger. PubliusFL 19:35, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
Is this really notable? It seems most notable because of the homage to the BFG9000. - A Link to the Past (talk) 03:51, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Big Force or Bio Force?
It was Big Force Gun in the movie and this article says Bio force. ???? SakotGrimshine
I've googled it a lot and I can't find much. People go back and forth. But I've heard people claim that "Big Force Gun" is a mistake. Be nice to get a good source on this. SakotGrimshine 19:10, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
