Beyond the Glory

Beyond the Glory is a 10-time Emmy-nominated series and Fox Sports Net's highest-rated weekly program. The critically-acclaimed documentary series profiles some of the most legendary and controversial athletes in recent history. Executive produced by Steve Michaels and Frank Sinton and narrated by accomplished actor and voice-over artist D.B. Sweeney, the show uses archived video, on-camera interviews and player histories to take viewers beyond the playing field and into the athletes' lives and minds.

The series has examined the careers of boxing legend George Foreman, NFL superstars Donovan McNabb, Tony Dorsett, Daunte Culpepper and controversial Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. Beyond the Glory also sits down with NBA greats Reggie Miller, Kevin Garnett and Grant Hill as well as legendary Los Angeles Lakers owner Dr. Jerry Buss and his family.

The series has delved into the lives of such athletes as Mike Tyson in a special two-hour Emmy-nominated episode, and in-depth interviews with sports notables such as Kobe Bryant, Chris Webber, Sammy Sosa, Cal Ripken, Jr. and boxing greats Oscar de la Hoya, Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins and NFL greats Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders.
