Beyond Twilight is a progressive metal band from Denmark with symphonic elements to their sound, being the use of keyboards and harmonic vocals. The vocals are high-pitched and usually found in most power metal bands, which can be used as another genre classification of their style. The band was originally formed in 1990 under the name "Twilight", which was a power metal band at the time. The band changed its name to Beyond Twilight in 1999.
The band released three studio albums to date; The Devil's Hall of Fame on July 23, 2001, Section X on March 29, 2005 and For the Love of Art and the Making on April 21, 2006 under German label, Massacre Records.
Beyond Twilight play progressive metal with the influence of Horror films and other themes of fantasy and science fiction. Fans often categorize the band as "Cinematic Metal".
