[edit] Plot
A girl named Jaclyn moves with her aunt Greta to a small Arctic town called Sherpia. In Sherpia, Jaclyn notices that in front of almost every house is a creepy-looking snowman. Two of the local kids, Eli and Rolonda, explain that the snowmen were built to ward off an evil snowman with a scar on its face that lives in a cave in a nearby mountain. Below the cave lives a seemingly crazy man named Conrad and a white wolf who may or may not work for the snowman.
To find out the truth about the snowman, Jaclyn heads up to the cave at night. She learns that the snowman is real, and that it claims to be her father. He further explains that he and Jaclyn's mother, along with her aunt, were practitioners of magic, and that Jaclyn's mother and Greta had turned him into a snowman. At that moment, Greta arrives, and tells Jaclyn that the snowman is really an evil demon whom Jaclyn's parents had accidentally summoned. Jaclyn does not know who to believe, so she chooses to believe the snowman. She remembers a nursery rhyme that her mother once told her when she was little, and that the completed version is really the spell to reveal the snowman's true form. Unfortunately, Greta was indeed telling the truth, and the snowman actually is a horrible demon.
The snowman demon is about to kill the two, when Jaclyn and Greta are saved from it when all the other snowmen from town come to the rescue and push the demon into the wall of ice. The demon is trapped frozen forever. It is revealed that Conrad had brought them to life, and that he is really Jaclyn's father. He stayed behind in Sherpia in order to protect the townspeople from the snowman he and Jaclyn's mother created.
With Jaclyn and her father reunited, the other snowmen ask if they can go back into town because it is really cold.
