Talk:Beverage antenna
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
i disagree with the advise box that has been put next to the article. the fact that the article shows how-to related information should't be a reason for the article to be moved.
I note that this page is listed in the category, "pages that have a how-to section".
I read through the article three times looking for the instructions. I could not find them. This is a simple antenna, and someone might be able to build one after reading the article's prose.
Perhaps the how-to section has already been removed?
I considered just taking it out of that category, but decided to create the discussion page instead. Maybe the person who thinks this is a how-to page will say why. Simicich 05:40, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- I'm guessing it's about the "Implementation" section. I'll happily import it to wikibooks if someone wants to write about amateur radio. --SB_Johnny|talk|books 16:51, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
The content here appears to describe the antenna, not actually tell how to build one. It's not very long, I don't see why very short descriptive text that could lead to implementation can't be here. I'm removing the notice. --ssd 07:55, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
