Beverly Square West, Brooklyn

Beverly Square West is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Located on land that remained rural until the early 20th century, the neighborhood consists of many large, free-standing Victorian homes built in the 1900s. The neighborhood was built on farm land originally owned by Catherine Lott. The developer, T.B. Ackerson Company, built a combination of large 3 story custom built homes as well as more standardized ones. Some of the more remarkable homes include the Guggenheim honeymoon cottage c. 1901 at 305 Rugby Road and , T.B. Ackerson's home built in 1903 at 304 Marlborough Road.

Beverly Square West is one of more than a dozen neighborhoods that compose the area commonly know as Victorian Flatbush.
