The Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) is the police department of the City of Beverly Hills, California.[1] The BHPD is recognized as one of the most professional police agencies in America.[1] The current police chief of the BHPD is David L. Snowden.

The police department was featured in the 1986 comedy movie Down and Out in Beverly Hills and another comedy, Beverly Hills Cop.
Detective Lynn Franklin became the most highly decorated officer in Beverly Hills Police history.[2]
