Bevan George (born March 22, 1977 in Narrogin, Western Australia) is a field hockey defender from Australia, who won the golden medal with the Men's National Team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He was also part of the Australian Junior Team that won the golden medal at the Junior World Cup in Milton Keynes, 1997. George, nicknamed Jethro, played his 100th match for The Kookaburrus on May 23, 2004 against Belgium during the European Tour. He was the captain of the team that won the Champions Trophy in December 2005 in Chennai, where he was named Player of the Tournament.
