Can I get some guidance about what sources are considered acceptable? I don't know how to reference some things; e.g. confirming someone has graduated from a university, or used to work someplace... Any help would be appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Betsyjh9824 (talkcontribs)

[edit] to avoid confusion

I have made you a user subpage, UserBetseyjh9824/AJM to which you should move the article in progress on your user page. With respect to acceptable content and sourcing please read WP:FIRST and WP:CITE. As a guide, the material is section 10 is not acceptable content--this sort of detail belongs on his blog. Additionally, specific sources are needed for the other biographical material--and you should not go into detail describing the significance ofthe various political events in which he has been involved. A link to the articles on them is acceptable.

By the way, you seem to have been editing also as an anonymous account -- I suggest it will be a good idea to remember to log in. And, with respect to that account, please be aware of WP:COI and WP:BFAQ and WP:SPAM. I have blocked the anon account involved for continued spamming--if this occurs here, it will be blocked also, as well as any other account you use. DGG (talk) 17:30, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

  • UserBetseyjh9824/AJM sure confused me - colon missing after User, spurious e in 'tsyjh' and AJM instead of ADM! What DGG is saying is that we like users to keep their user page to say something about themselves. For article drafts, create other user pages. I have moved User:Betsyjh9824 to User:Betsyjh9824/ADM. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 19:19, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
