[edit] Country?
Thx for the article, but per norm please give broader location info (eg country) in the first sentence. Hope this helps, "alyosha" (talk) 02:53, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Not to be confused with ..."
... any of these either? There seems little point in making that statement: unless you tell people, they won't be confused!
- Betws, Bridgend
- Betws, Carmarthenshire
- Betws, Isle of Anglesey
- Betws Bledrws, Ceredigion
- Betws Disserth, Powys
- Betws Fawr, Gwynedd
- Betws Garmon, Gwynedd
- Betws Ifan, Ceredigion
- Betws-yn-Rhos, Conwy
All of them can be found by logging on here. The article tends towards too much POV - despite all the protestations about "not being anything to do with Ammanford", the village is actually linked with the town in the name of the parish! The Xlink makes that quite clear. Peter Shearan 05:30, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- I've had a shot at a rewrite, putting the POV stuff under "other notes". They might be interesting, but not vital to the facts, surely? Peter Shearan 05:48, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
this article fails in two ways
1 - for anyone from north wales, Betws is 'Betws Y Coed' to which there is no reference
2 - it does not describe what a Betws actually is - a hermitage of a celtic saint
