[edit] Why NPOV
Can someone tell me why this page is tagged for NPOV assistance? Its seems perfectly NPOV to me... Stu 23:05, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
One reason could be that the only external links are to sites opposing Mrs. Mahmoody. --Aaron Walden 07:37, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
It is interesting that Mrs. Mahmoody still keeps her husband's family name. Supposedly she suffered a lot with him, so most women would restore their maiden names after divorcing their horrible husbands. Betty didn't do that. Could it be because it's more "sensational", and can sell more? - M. Abdulghani
ANOTHER OPINION: Well, the fact that we can not live in peace on earth and we created some boundaries which can not be crossed is sad.
And another: She alleges in her book that Iranian houses are filled with cockroaches and that Iranians never bathe. What to say?

- well her stupidity. It is not a secret to those who know history that Iranians ave built many ancient bath houses much much earlier than many "modern" nations. Moreover their religions (both Zoroastrianism and Shia islam) have prescriptions that they should bath frequently. last time in an anglo-saxon environment I found cockroaches in my soup. So she better gets her facts straight.--Babakexorramdin 13:35, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mahmoudy
There should be a redirect page at Betty Mahmoudy, as several news sources have spelled the name that way.
[edit] MegaMom changes
I didn't want to revert and destroy your work, so I put [citation needed] instead. Betty Mahmoody isn't a reliable source, try to find a third party source, even if it is just one of her many fans. Or write "according to herself", and mention the segment of her webpage that says so. --Tilman 20:13, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
