Talk:Bettino Craxi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"The diminutive of Benedetto used to be Benito between revolutionary Italian families, as a Spanish and South American reference to Benito Juarez, until Benito Mussolini made it inexpedient, imprudent and offensive to use that form."
I deleted the words 'South American' because they are an ignorant way to refer to a Mexican leader. Mexico is NOT in South America.
[edit] Second longest serving?
I'm too lazy to add up the years of Fanfani and Andreotti, but Aldo Moro and de Gasperi served longer than Craxi. Period. Cheers. Io 23:22, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
