IMDb profile |
Silent Night, Deadly Night 3: You Better Watch Out! 1989 is the second sequel to the 1984 slasher film Silent Night, Deadly Night. The film was directed by revered director Monte Hellman, and stars Samantha Scully, a then unknown Laura Harring and horror veteran Bill Moseley. Veteran film and television actor Robert Culp also has a cameo as a police lieutenant. It was released in 1989 directly to video, and has yet to be released on DVD. This was also the last film in the series to follow the storyline set by the previous two films, as the following two sequels acted as complete stand alone entries. The plot concerns a young blind clairvoyant named Laura, as her Doctor Newbury attempts to link her psychic visions with that of a comatose Ricky, who was shot several times in Silent Night, Deadly Night 2. When these experiments fail, Laura decides to visit her grandmother during Christmas along with her brother and girlfriend. Unfortunately, Ricky wakes up from his coma, and begins to hunt her down with the doctor and a police officer on his trail.
