A young boy - Lukas - is playing with a football in the back of a car, while stuck in a rush hour traffic jam. His mother tells him off, and then starts arguing with his father about the volume of the radio. Lukas starts to bounce his ball on the back of his mother's seat, and she turns around and shouts at him. She has turned the radio up to drown out his father, so Lukas leans into the front of the car and turns the radio off. Lukas starts listening to Robbie Williams' album Escapology so he doesn't have to listen to his parents argue. The battery on his portable CD player runs out, as he looks out of his window to the car on his left, and sees a girl - Amanda. He watches her intently until he catches her eye. They smile at each other, and mirror each other's actions; scratching their heads, nodding their heads and dancing. Amanda winds her window down and waves. Lukas tries to open his window, but can't. Amanda writes "what music?" on a piece of paper, and holds it up to her window, after seeing Lukas' headphones. Lukas holds Escapology up to the window, and Amanda does the same with her copy of the album. Lukas holds a sign up saying "Lukas", and whispers "Amanda" after reading her sign. Amanda holds up a drawing of a monster, and Lukas pulls a funny face. He tries to mouth "what's your phone number?" through the glass, but Amanda doesn't understand him, so he begins to write it on a piece of paper. As Lukas is writing, his car starts to pull away. He shouts "Stop, dad!", and tries to see Amanda through the back window. As the car stops again, Amanda's car pulls up beside it, but before Lukas can hold up his latest sign, Amanda draws a kiss in the mist on the window, and pretends to go to sleep. She sees Lukas' sign from the corner of her eye, and pretends to go back to sleep. Lukas mirrors this, as the two continue glancing at each other between pretending to sleep, eventually both looking at the same time. Amanda presses her fingertip to the glass, and Lukas does the same. He tries to aks her for her phone number again, and finally holds up his sign. She understands, and goes to get a pen and paper. Her car starts to drive away, and she waves out of the window as she goes. Lukas shouts "Go, dad! Go!", but he is too late; Amanda's gone.
