Betim is a city in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is located at around . The city belongs to the mesoregion Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte and to the microregion of Belo Horizonte.
Home to the one of the Petrobras's oil refineries and Fiat's largest factory, among other plants, the city has an important role not only in the state's economy, but in the whole country's as well.
